Ohhh. It's been a while!
Since I've done one of these posts, I've ceremoniously moved countries, then cities. Good, good adventurous times. Of course, I'm never too far from a computer, and I'm always intrigued or inspired by the things I find or the links I'm sent, but actually plotting them out on a blog post is something I haven't had the time for lately.
However! I am making the time now. Lucky you!
Onward!
- Fuck Your Noguchi Coffee Table tumblr made me laugh. I browse a lot of design blogs, and while so many images make me swoon, it's funny to also have a laugh at the complete unoriginality of some people.
- Facebook Relationships is an amazing image with an interesting story behind it. At first I thought he'd just take a map of the world and drawn a few cheeky lines. But then I discovered he'd only used the latitudes and longitudes as references; and the map virtually drew itself. Clever!
- I love maps. I love maps like this - a pretty fusion of design and transport. True, these could probably end up on the aforementioned tumblr, but I don't care. When I travel, I like to find something veeeerry subtle that will make me remember the place I've visited, but doesn't scream I HEART NEW YORK or something stupid like that. These are perfect.
- Well, it's not quite Winter here in Wellington, but the days are going to start to get shorter, and I am staring straight into a student budget, so this list of Winter Budget Meals is looking very appealing!
- I can't decide if Avocado and Coconut Ice Cream is weird or awesome.
